Hello PREE Readers! We have been a little quiet on social media, but trust that 2023 is off to a GREAT start. Two updates to share with you. On the afternoon of June 12, 2022, amidst the sculpted and visual art of Laura Facey's "Laboratory of the Ticking Heart," PREE joined together some of our region's most daring Caribbean word artists. Multi-award winning novelists and poets read alongside some of our finest emerging talents. We gathered for an afternoon of laughter, bliss, and disruption at Ormsby Memorial Hall. We delivered. We are PREE. We are LITERALLY excited about this weekend! 🥳 This Sunday, PREE presents readings on stage & books 📚 on sale! Join us Sunday at 2pm at Ormsby Memorial Hall, Kingston, Jamaica for a celebration of Caribbean words! 📢 Join PREE for a literary mixer on June 12 at Ormsby Memorial Hall. This event is a showcase mixing some of the newest Caribbean word artists with the tried and true 💚. 📢 Caribbean writers! Do you have the words? Do you have a story to tell? Rejoice! We have extended the deadline for submitting your words for PREE Issue 9: Religion. ⏰ Submit today. PREE Issue 8. Writing the Wrongs.
